Oh! Pibgorn!

Faeries, demons, time-travel, Quantum Physics, love, sex and classical music. "Pibgorn" sure ain't your average comic. What papers syndicate this masterful, challenging strip?

I've never seen this strip in syndicate. It's really vibrant...what's the central conceit?

Hey, welcome back THC (love the acronym!) Thanks for dropping in to say howdy.

I've only been exposed to "Pibgorn" through Comics.com, and since I'm not yet a subscriber, haven't been able to parse her entire history. She is, indeed, a woodland fairy who decides to leave that world behind and ends up crash-landed on the property of a mousy church organist named Geoff with whom she falls madly in love. To make matters even stranger, Geoff has a girlfriend named Drusilla who is actually a succubus in disguise. The two otherworldly beings clash badly, with Pibgorn ending up dead at Dru's hands (wrapped around an axe, if I'm correct), but all's fair in love and magic and now the two faeries serve as uneasy allies and share duties of protecting Geoff.

And that's just scratching the surface - you have GOT to love this strip!
