It's just gonna break his heart to find out that Toni Daytona's just not into him as more than a friend! At least that's what I'm expecting to happen in "Luann" (who'da thought that the strip I started reading in 1978 would still have me involved today?) but you never know - she just might see something in the boy.....
We're off to play a gig tonight in Lake Worth, Florida at The Bamboo Room - will be back on Sunday for those fabulous in-color funnies!

Have a great gig!
My boyfriend just bought me a Get Fuzzy book and a Pearls Before Swine book. Hours of fun! The Pearls book had an interesting introduction by the cartoonist.
Apparently, Scott Adams (Mr. Dilbert), gave Stephan Pastis (Mr. Pearls) his break by endorsing his strip on his website. Then, all of his fans became Pearls fans.
Also, Darby Conley (Mr. Get Fuzzy) basically took Pastis under his wing and showed him the ropes since Pastis had been a lawyer for nine years when he decided to try drawing a comic strip.
It's all one big happy family... :)
Looka that nepotism! Well, those guys certainly are awesome company. I wonder how many inside jokes are laced into their work regarding the others?
